Victory Gundam Linework Photodump!

this took about 20-24 hours to get here. that includes cutting from the runner/tree, nub cleaning with the xacto knife and panel lining with minor paint touch-ups using gundam marker red + tiny brush [including dry time]

here’s victory in “gff pose” dubbed by “Z” from gunpla-inochi.com =]

  1. Wow looking really good.. Am now thinking of learning panel washing, looks way realistic than using them graphic pens.

    • oh, well then thank you! yeah, it’s sort of a panel line wash with the marker eraser technique i did with this one but yeah, panel line washing helps when the lines are just too thin or it gets a bit complicated [like the wings on this one, it was so thin/watered down it ran all the way through the lines on the other side]

just make sure you buy a tiny brush with a hard pointed tip, not the kind with loose hairs.

  2. To perfect the GFF pose, the legs must open slightly wider with the sole facing more outward. Head must look down and shoulders are pulled back, with a slight bend at the elbow.
